A very nice mix--quite atmospheric! I saved listening to it until it's as close to winter as it gets here in the Portland, OR area--which means briefly dipping down below freezing and a dusting of snow on the ground (descriptions of weather are definitely relative/regional). Here is some other music that I listen to that is evocative to me of the winter season:
-"Winter" by Wendy Carlos off of Sonic Seasonings
-Tibet by Mark Isham (the entire album)
-Music by Sylvan Grey, who plays the kantele, which is an 36 stringed instrument native to Finland and has an "icy" sound to it. The two recordings of hers that I have are "Ice Flowers Melting" and "Recurring Dream". They are hypnotic and pulsing, evocative of Steve Reich and others
-John Luther Adams "In the White Silence"--The selections are very similar to each other, but the album is definitely evocative of the winter season
Perhaps you could do another Winter mix one of these years!
