Great mix of "classic" ambient if such a term exists. It seems ambient started with a beat originally and then artist realised that the beat could be dispensed with and still hold it own flow. I'm such a huge fan of that Michael Brook track 33 minutes in. I think I have a soft spot for ambient tracks with midrange tribal rhythms and sliding notes... On another note, I just got my copy of Thom Brennan - The Path Not Taken. Thanks for putting that one in my vocabulary :)
