Holy Week: Easter

Holy Week: Easter
Jesus, the Lamb of God
Mark 15:31-34, John 19:30 and Other Texts
Brandon Cook and Chris Lapp. Life's great challenge is that we desire life, but we will die. Death is our common enemy and our universal predicament. But on Easter, like watching a sun rise over a dark night, we allow ourselves to stand in awe and wonder as our hearts begin to hope. In this message, we explore the background and history of Passover and Easter, and we discover how God has been at work taking on death through Jesus, the perfect, spotless lamb, who confronts the power of death once and for all.
