As we gaze into the abyss of music and sounds surrounding us in the Rootcellar studio... we drift away to a far off place where the twangy strings harmonize with the sounds of horns, drums and more as we explore the motherland of Africa and its ancient roots of rhythms and sound.
Winding from Mali to Ethiopia and Nigeria following the wavelengths of sound across the Atlantic, treading through the Caribbean, spiraling through India and Europe…surfing the synthesized waves of pop, synth madness into the heart of the pulsating electric signals we flow and reflect like the vast oceans that shape our landscapes from coast to coast.
