Easter Joy

Christian joy isn't something superficial or necessarily emotional nor unchanging. We pass through many conditions and circumstances. The joy we have is the same joy the Lord Jesus had in making his way to the Cross. Jesus went to Calvary with joy; not a superficial joy, but that of knowing he was within and obedient to the will of God. Our joy is founded in the promises of God. Sometimes that requires naked faith without signs, props or indications of God's favor towards us.
