Humility is key.
We are only who we are thanks to the grace of God.
Anything we have is because God allowed us to have it. If we gain somethhing, it is not because of our own ability but only because God has allowed it.
Before Jesus had come to Earth he already knew what he was going to go through. He had already decided before he came, to die for us because of his love for us. Jesus' blood came free of charge. He had to empty himself of his glory before coming down to earth. He came in human form, not as an important person of power, but as a carpenter's son. HE WAS BORN IN A MANGER, that is humility at its peak.
God has a plan for everyone of us. We are complete in Him. We are already who we are. It is not our physical possessions that determine who we are, we are already who we are in God.
