Can you let me know your honest opinion regarding the bass on my latest mix please?
For some reason I’m having to turn it down more and more and something doesn’t sound right to me. I don’t know what’s going on lately with the sound quality. I need to know what it sounds like on other peoples devices/ headphones however you listen to it.
Might take it down and try to fix it

What software are you using ?
I’ve had ongoing issues with dj pro ai. One day sounds great next day same settings sounds shite !
It is a mind field mate.
I wiped my MacBook and now only pull from iCloud what files I need. I’m no Steven hawking with computers or tech ,but deduced that if you overload the software with too many files it reduces the performance
I always play and record with -12db. Found it gives me a constant sound. Minefield dude. All the best.
I listened to the first few minutes and flipped around thru it. To my ears and on my system, which is in the middle of listening to rough mixes of a crazy festival dubstep album, the bass sounds kinda flat in some way like you are turning it down as you said, which makes me wonder if someone did you a 'favor' and turned your sub up too much? Do you have some other eq on in a program in your audio chain you didn't notice?
What are you using to listen to it on and what does other music sound like on the same system?

Thank you RAILBREAK 👊🏻 I have a ddj 800 on a Windows 11 laptop and nobody else has touched my gear. I have just reinstalled the drivers and messed around with some settings so hopefully I can give it a blast tomorrow. I really appreciate the feedback you confirmed something I was unsure about 🙏
