Might I recommend the UK Cherry Red records Grapefruit imprint of psychedelic collections? They’re usually presented under a theme of a particular year or genre. And like most Cherry Red albums, these compilations come with superb liner notes. I’ve learned so much from them and I’ve collected dozens of them.
The 3-cd collection, “New Moon’s in the Sky — the British Progressive Pop Sounds of 1970” had Hwind’s Hurry on Sundown on it. Cheers. And happy digging for nuggets in your basement, gents.

Props to T/L for beginning your journey with those very fine ( and still active !!) cosmic pilots, Hawkwind. Beautiful song.
Hawkwind is the best! We thought it only fitting to start our “Vinyl Basement” journey with the boys from “space”.
Rock on!
