A musical metaphor for my intentions at the time, this mix is introduced by the story of a man faking his own death to escape crushing debt (and possibly the Croatian heavies from the Sunset Sauna) & concluded with spoken word via Gil Scott-Heron's "Running".
In between are some of my favorite tunes from that time and other moments gone by. Some of it might make you want to dance, other parts might inspire you to think. My hope is that it makes you feel.
Spun at the Electric Earth in Fall 2013 on vinyl/SSL. If you were there that night, I hope you remember the whole enchanted evening and can understand the context behind this set. I know I will. Thanks for being a part of the journey!
