Seismic Event

15 months to make this mix... It started spring 2011, and finally jelled August 2012. Originally it was just a handful of tracks, and of that handful, only a few fingers remain (B! Machine, Recoil, and OMD, I think). It is an unapologetically autobiographical selection. As things shifted and changed for me, so did the tracklist, and the order, and the juxtapositions, and the meanings. This is final; this is talismanic; this is where we arrive at with the map we have and it shows no way out or forward and so we stop and depart.
