Biography, Kristoffer Raasted

In their artistic practice, Kristoffer Raasted works with sound within a visual arts context. Part of the Copenhagen based DJ Crew / listening network Queer Producers, the approach to producing tracks is genre-free, with references to techno, ambient and house. Past DJ performances include Servants Jazz Quarters (London), Tabasa (Tokyo), Fanfullah (Rome) and Mayhem (Copenhagen).

Kristoffer Raasted is an educated visual artist from Faculdade de Belas Artes in Lisbon and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and holds an MFA from the Media Department at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Currently conducting the practice-based artistic research PhD project New Connections: queering the radio voice at the laboratory for artistic research at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
