Collision is Imminent

Vast emptiness. Scorching temperature. We are orbiting around a massive G-type star, named NV1296. Last of it's hydrogen reserves are running low. The star is dying. As it grows several miles in every second, the furious giant starts to devour his plantes it has nurtured for eons. The gravitational pull is too strong. We are unable to reach escape-velocity... Collision is imminent.
