FUNDRAZA 2!

Back in 2021, Decay and I collaborated on an event, FUNDRAZA, to help raise funds to construct a new home for 32° East. We raised over $2000 to build phase 1 of the building which houses 4 artist studios and a flexible workspace holding the library.

Four years later, 32° East is completing construction, so we're doing FUNDRAZA 2 and this time it's a 24HR back-to-back DJ marathon.

From 6pm on Friday 23rd to 6pm Saturday 24th May, come dance with us in person at the #32Library or online on Mixcloud Live. We're going nonstop for 24 hours so one of us will be on the decks at all times 😀 Look out for guest performances and other fun surprises to keep energies high and donations coming in

32° East has given us and the wider Ugandan and East African arts community a home that supports our dreaming and doing, materially, critically and always with love. It's our honor to give a little of that love back in order to complete the space that continues to grow into a wonderful home for our community

This time we're going to beat our record by raising $3200. The complete centre will include accessible artist accommodation and studios, a cafe, a gallery and an art supply store.
