A message by Pastor Bill Mann on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at King’s Grace Fellowship. Proverbs 15 Introduction: (Proverbs 15:1-33) Picking up where we left off we find ourselves in chapter 15. I realized as I pondered this chapter that I would have to “pick and choose” the highlights that came to the surface as I read.  There is much practical wisdom that will help one get along with people if only it’s chosen it. Highlight #1: Anger Control (v. 1) Proverbs 15:1 (ESV) 1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. I have always liked this verse. Memories of my childhood Sunday School memory verse challenges come flooding back to me. This was one of the first verses I recall memorizing. It has the ability of calming most any situation. People respond to gentle kindness much better than attitude and anger. I’m positive I have not always employed this principle however. Yet it is still a principle to aspire to live by.
