Proverbs: Chapter 14

Proverbs 14 INTRODUCTION While it’s been a while since I spoke last but I remain vigilant to complete the book of Proverbs before moving on. So tonight we turn to Proverbs chapter 14. As is my custom, lets read this chapter, then I will have remarks on a few areas that stuck out to me. (Proverbs 14:1–35) This Proverb is a proverb of contrasts. One only needs to live a bit of life before they understand the wisdom of these verses. What I like about this proverb is that I consider it to be  mostly applied wisdom. In other words as you read these contrasts your heart and spirit will agree with the wisdom contained in the statements. However to have the desired positive effect, one must choose the right side. I think most of these are a “no brainer“. The real issue comes with the follow through. One can talk all they want about the the “wisdom” of Proverbs, but none of that wisdom matters if it is no
