Deep Nite Blue

As I have mentioned before, each time I dig into the Blue Note Catalog I find a different vein with a character all it's own. I suppose it helps having nearly all of the first 50 years of the label and 40+ years worth of listening under my belt. This one was assembled around 3:00 AM over a couple of nights when I fell asleep early and awoke in the wee hours (older folks know what I'm talking about). This is absolutely a late nite, glass of fine whiskey and a joint kind of thang.
