When Down, Reach Up

"If only I were running track with my friends, thought DJ as he looked forlornly out his hospital window. Suddenly, a burning itch caused him to quickly squeeze his finger under the cast on his leg. Why did I have to get hurt skateboarding? He brushed away a tear with his hand when he heard someone come in.
