KELLAM: March 2016 - ElectrOrganic

This recorded mix is from a recent set I was invited to play in the heart of Brooklyn NYC at a wonderful underground music venue that only a select group of a few hundred people know about. The atmosphere was perfect, I played a sunrise set from 5-7am, the crowd was bouncing, the function one system pumping, and the energy just off the charts.

With this mix I wanted to blend a world of electronic dance music, techie sounds and organic melodic tonalities. You will notice throughout the mix that the music will articulate back and forth between more electronic deep tech house and back to more organic qualities. This mix, to me, represents a fresh start for me, as well as a musical metaphor for the transition from winter to spring.

I hope you enjoy it. I hope it moves you, and I hope you share this mix link with your friends.
