Needle Search 1/14

Needle Search is a monthly open decks event at The California Clipper. I applied for their January event cuz the theme really spoke to me: the chiller side of dance. When I think dance I'm usually up in the 124 - 135 bpm range, I love euro house, I love something slutty, I want to shake ass ferociously. So this theme spoke to me cuz I'm always looking to break out of my wheelhouse. I don't think I even hit 120 on this mix (there's a couple "150" bpm songs but that's just 75 imo). I got into my sweet soulful bag and there still was some ass shaking! Mostly from me, but that's how it usually is.

I recorded this at home a few days after the set mostly to keep for myself but also I think it's a nice little groover. Photo taken by my friend Lucas while I was in the mix
