It's a strange moment in time: At one hand we are struggling with over a year of restrictions and uncertainty, on the other the sun shines brighter, the magnolia trees are blossoming and people are getting their vaccines. I don't know how it is for you guys, but I feel myself floating between hope and frustration on a pretty much constant basis at the moment. Politics making a mess of it certainly isn't helping.
Here a musical representation of that emotional roller-coaster i feel i am on, and maybe you are as well. It starts with a bunch of moody wavy post-punky stuff, and ends with a selection of unusual pop classics that are simultaneously happy and depressing.
I guess a year later i finally got around to that second part.
