Remember

Some really great music has been written to pay tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting. The songs are beautiful, sad and heartbreaking. That being said, this mix of songs is not that. It is a celebration of life and going forward.

I was playing around making a new mix when I first heard about the horrific events unfolding in Orlando. For the last few weeks I have watched people come together united to spread the word of love and to stop intolerance and hate. It has been amazing. I tried to pick songs that were somewhat relevant or at least felt that way to me. The truth is some of these tunes are about love, some are intense and inspiring, some will make you get up and dance and frankly, one or two are kind of goofy. I guess that describes at times the diversity of the human spirit. This mix is dedicated to those unique souls we loved and lost June 12, 2016 at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando Florida.
