Techno Hop was a label ran by The Unknown D.J. from 1984-1989 with one release in 2008. Known for Electro and releasing the classic "6 In The Mornin" by Ice-T. The label also had non electro artist such as King Tee, with 2 singles released and produced by D.J. Pooh. Techno Hop artist are some of the first talking about Compton and released the 1st single by Comptons Most Wanted. The 3 artist mention went on to become successful MCs on major labels after these releases. That's how popular Techno Hop records were in Los Angeles. D.J. Battery Brain from the Kaos Crew (Rappers Rapp Disco Co.) was also signed by Unknown and released "8 Volt Mix" in 1988

Growing up in L.A. Crenshaw and Jefferson i couldn't wait until Techno Hop would drop a single. Thise first three Ice T singles were life. Ta Don't Quit, Doggin the Wax, and 6 in the Morning are classics.
