Sean John, FUBU, Phat Farm, RocaWear...hip hop's foray into the fashion world has come with a variety of labels, but the one that never got a chance to take off was Biggie's little-known project "Brooklyn Mint"...the clothing line that almost was.
This mix of hip hop (mostly) from the 90's is a tribute to what was, what could have been, and ultimately what laid the foundation for what is what in 2017. We're taking a trip back to the storytelling days of hip hop, when lyrical prowess and a fresh flow still carried more weight than the almighty dollar.
So sit back, get your mind right, and let this little mix take your ear drums for a low-ridin' journey through the "glory days" of hip hop.
