Jumpin' JK Homan here once again. Quick apology for how late the show was this week, the last few days have been utterly hectic and I worked as hard as I could to get the show out as soon as I possibly could. Hopefully I should be able to get the next one out by next Monday, but given the late start this week, we may fall a bit behind once again. We'll see how it goes anyway!

It's been a very strange few weeks on the show, and a period that I was somewhat dreading as I was unsure how to approach it and if I would be able to balance the required tone shifts appropriately. We're still not out of the woods yet, the vibe of the show will be quite different than usual up until the new year, at which point things are set to rapidly change once more. This is a very unique few weeks in both chart and social history, the abrupt closure of one era and the sudden arrival of a new one. The next month is a bridge between the two periods, we are about to enter a time completely unlike what we have become accustomed to over the last (almost) five years. This is where history really starts.

That's all to come, but first, we've a year to round off. We've three more Top 40 shows left in '63, then we've the Christmas show, the Top 100 chart of the year and my review of the year. Some of these shows may leak into 2026 depending on how long they take to do, but I promise they'll be worth listening to.
