After getting into drum and bass, I started checking out all other genres of EDM. I can't say I fell into it quickly. Not at all actually. It took about a whole year for me to really respect all styles of EDM (except the ones that are just pure trash...). I'll spin anything, and I truly enjoy multi-genre DJing. A year and a half of DJ experience under my belt with a great understanding of song structure, timing, blending, mixing, turntables whether controller or CDJ, and starting to grasp scratching (WORK IN PROGRESS). Before DJing, I've always been a musician. I've played violin, guitar, keyboards, drums, and done vocals. Music is a language, and I speak this language fluently.
