This dance is to continue seeking
ground in groundlessness*
roots in the unrooted
It helps simply tuning in and
turning to your feet
touching the earth and following something there
This is tending the home and hearth
of your breath and body
of kindness to yourself and others
this is revolution and evolution
In this mix we turn towards ground
to inform, entrust and enable
A connection that supports and supplants
News of uncertainty and fear
There is a song I love by Gil Scott-Heron
called "the revolution will not be televised"
Not turning to the internet
but something deeper our bodies, in the earth
and in community
Let's tune in there for some hope and strength
