Guess what.
Last evening, my man Charles N’Galls honoured my place with his visit and records as we had unfinished business. We were supposed to play smart ass on each other with the old “you’re gonna sell your mum on that one”. But we did not. Instead, I pressed the red button and the tape kept on rolling, as each of us had a turn for one record behind the decks with kpafuca inspiration. Syria, Cameroun, Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad, Guadeloupe or Brazil to name a few of the countries we’ve been through. And a lil’ hip-hop. And Indian psychodelicks. And Gérard Depardieu. And Simone Signoret, Patrick Dewaere and Hugh Hopper. And so on. And yes, it felt like another La Classe Internationale show from Radio Campus Orleans. So here we were, mixing live for ghosts pleasure, with little fucking-it-up sparkles to make sure about here and now. Now, here is tomorrow and what is left of it is a fly and freaky feeling we wanted to share with you.
