While I love music of many sorts (besides philosophy), I have become fonder of 'world music' in the last years. Music that embraces all of life. I'm not saying that I am fully into the optimistic kind of "all life is connected" appetite - I'm more into "the real", as intertwined life clearly includes conflict and tensions. But to me that doesn't mean we must ignore this connectedness, on the contrary. We may rather need to be courageous enough to embrace a philosophy of life which is "dark enough" to survive in this sometimes gloomy interconnected space. For instance, if indeed there is no real relation between love and sex (which I think is true), then we could still *make* they relate - if we had the ethical will, the courage and the perseverance to do it. It is all in our own hands.
