mp3J! Think you got what it takes to give up your vinyl, your cd's, even your Serato and your Traktor? Everybody wants to bitch about the evolution of the laptop DJ's. There however doesn't seem to be a shortage of work for them. And I've noticed a good amount of the clubs and venues have removed turntables altogether, providing most of the sound system, maybe some CDJ's and a bar. I play vinyl and I can't get away from that attachment. But I play CD's too, and use Traktor at my boy Jay Nem's pad. This was made with my laptop and my laptop only just so I could know the difference. For what it's worth, I liked doing it and it still sounds like my style mixing.

I personally do not use any of the laptop stuff, ima still using the vinyl and CDJs (which I was forced into only because of lack of vinyl) however if you can mix the hell out of it and it gets the vibe on...GIT IT!! I have opened my mind beyond vinyl and the tradtional equipment. The music continues to evolve because of the technology and I appreciate a good mix regardless.
