"life could be much more simple if we tried to make it so. instead we continuously make it more difficult by progressing no-matter-what and therefore dissolving into areas for which we - as a society - aren't prepared at all. if only we had focused more on improving and perfecting skills we own instead of blindly trying to develop new skills over and over. it's sort of quality-versus-quantity thing, but i'd call it horizontal growth versus vertical growth."
