Dubstep 2008

In 2008 I took a trip to Europe and the UK and soaked up the amazing energy of the dubstep scene there, attending several amazing gigs in Barcelona for the RBMA, DMZ's 5th birthday, Scala and FWD at Plastic People amongstseveral others. It reminded me of the vitality I'd seen in the Drum'n'Bass scene when I first went to the UK in 1997 and I bought a load of dubstep records. This was the first mix I did with them on returning home. A few sloppy mixes and an approach to dubstep mixing like a house DJ, still it's a nice compendium of the sounds that were big at that time.
