Iran's Weekly Wire 13
Last week, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif told PBS's Charlie Rose that Iran doesn't jail people for their opinions.
His remark won him a swift and unforgiving reaction from human rights groups and former prisoners of conscience.
Zarif later said he was speaking about a specific prisoner, Jason Rezaian, but his gaffe exposed the Rouhani administration's lack of progress on civil liberties.
This week, Roland Elliott Brown looks at how Iranians have reacted.
