Orbital Sessions #27 is a deep, long-form progressive journey, moving from spacious melodic tension into rolling late-night momentum. It opens with Mike Rish’s “GT” and travels through BOg, Diana Miro & 19:26, EMPHI, Chris Hover & Jon Towell, Daniel Portman and Lean Robotti before settling into the Sudbeat weight of Kamilo Sanclemente & Mauro Aguirre.
A standout moment is Ward Andrews’ “Dead Of The Night” — a seriously impressive cut from the “old guys cooking” brigade, full of atmosphere, drive and timeless progressive character. From there, the set moves through Supacooks, D-SHIFT, Jamie Stevens & Christian Smith, Tomas Garcia, JES & Das Pharaoh, Budakid in Guy J’s hands, MYRNE & mor- a- mor in ANUQRAM’s hands and Ruben Karapetyan, before closing on Motorcycle’s “As The Rush Comes” in Gabriel & Dresden’s Sweeping Strings Remix. Deep, emotional and built for the long journey.
