Extracto is based in Chicago, Illinois. It is a four-piece band in the rock music format. Extracto is Grant Dawson: bass, Marshall Dawson: drums, Steve Frenkel: guitar/vocals, Dan Polonsky: vocals/guitar. In 2018, Extracto released “The Power of Prime Numbers,” a five song EP. Shortly after that, they released the single “An Eagle with Angel’s Wings, a tribute to the late Glenn Frey of the Eagles. They have played in bands since the latter part of the 20th century. Collectively, they have over 120 years of rock experience. Their goal is to Make Music Great Again.
