Awesome set mate real nice selection of thumping hard hitters very well thought out and put together set I do love a good bit of techno and this hits all the spots for me digging this big time I done a couple of collaborations with Tamara seddon that are on my page one is called technoSis of the brain it's all the same style of techno as this an I really enjoyed laying down they techno sets and listening to this and the way you have put this together is truly amazing mate its put me in the mood to go track hunting and do another techno set so thank you for such an inspiring set top class mate :)
Thanks for the big comment! There's something about techno that's just so raw, that it often has that effect house can't fully deliver. I'm glad it's inspired you, I'll have to check out your collab with Tamara for sure!
I heard lots of hard gritty techno, but this also has an added dimension of "funky" which makes it stand out. Some of the track are standard head bangers but then you carry it into sounds that are really dance-able. The opening track, road to perdition, and disco crusher/shit are good examples. Erase the tape and casa bonita are true blue headbangers. Yeah totally diggin this.Then some really unconventional surprises on the home stretch!
I love the Tonning comments! Truthfully I didn't even think it that way when making it. The last few tracks are pretty old, I'd been listening to some sets from the mid 00s by Misstress Barbara and others and decided these tracks I'd bought years ago had to be used.

This 'God' trac sounds like a modern Doors track--nice!
It's melodic but grimey at the same time, a very nice tune I found years ago and have never been able to fit into a mix... Until now!
