Rick Conlow
On our 11th episode of Impact Teams Radio, Tony interviewed consulting firm WCW’s co-founder and CEO, Rick Conlow. Rick has literally turned companies around, from having negative numbers in the department he took over, to that same department winning multiple awards for their service. And he shares the general steps that he took to get it to that level. He interviewed managers, dug out the biggest company problems, took the same people, the same resources which were failing, and coached them into success.
He acknowledges several factors that have led to his management success. The first, is to build relationships, because relationships motivate execution. The second is to teach people how to think and be proactive. He shares that to be an effective manager is to build a team of effective and motivated managers. The third is to take mistakes and transform them into a learning experience.
He also shares the lows of his career and his unusual approach in order to surpass this management
