Solid Soul Sensations - Ian Levine's Eighty Eighth Northern Soul Podcast
It is now June 2020, and we are still in total interminable lockdown. I lost my Uncle which had the effect of making me grieve for my Mother all over again. Music is the only placebo that we have to get through the pain. But I finally got an original copy of Ronnie Dyson’s “Fever”, only released as a single in Mexico, so super rare and expensive, and just about the ultimate Northern Soul record that there ever could be. Added to that, we have Lou Dargan on Arco from New Jersey, and the Steel City Band on Salt Creek with that oh so unforgettable intro. And the Jackie DeShannon record that sounds so like Tobi Legend. So I think this 88th Podcast will help you to endure the lockdown blues. Please say a prayer for our dear soul friend Jeremy Hanson, that he not suffer pain during his hospice. Sad days but unbelievable music. Thus I send you all my love until next time. Keep safe - Ian Levine

This is not just a good show, it is fabulous. From the first few tracks it shows the depth of knowledge and quality Ian has. For those just wanting to listen to good music to others who want to know more too, Ian's shows are a must and they just keep getting better and better. Its an education and a joy all rolled up in to a wonderful listening experience.
It is worth all of the intense effort and expense just to read this, Tim.
