I Love Vinyl was founded in 2009 in New York City by Ben Goldfarb aka DJ Scribe and founding co-resident djs Amir Abdullah, Ge-Ology, The Twilite Tone, OP! and Jon Oliver. Shawn Dub joined in 2012. The I Love Vinyl party and radio show are dedicated to the living preservation and evolution of the culture of community-based, diverse, inclusive, soulful, inventive, genre non-constrained, elevation of the mind, body and spirt through the meeting of the dj, music, and dancer, which began in NYC with visionary progenitors David Mancuso & Larry Levan, and continues to evolve all over the world.
