I've been playing around with a lot of unprepared sets lately and wanted to how organic house and dark progressive psy blended together. Some of the deeper ends (more tribal sounds like Merkaba, Captain Hook) lend an interesting angle for set construction and building up energy to the unexpected audience.
There was a perfect track I should have put in the transition between the two genres, Merkaba - Earth (ended up putting it on last). I want to build this set out a lot more so will definitely be coming back to this! I also didnt plan ahead so there's a awkward bump in BPM that could have been completely avoid with with the Merkaba track.
I'm thinking of something with deep tech next...I might actually sit down and plan the story this time. Again, apologies for the mistakes, still getting used to the XDJ-XZ and I dont like using a lot of FX or the sync button to hide technique errors. Thanks for listening!
