Idols (Set 1)

In 1987/88, in a dark corner at the bottom of Johannesburg city , we would come to 96 End Street every Friday and Saturday night, to Idols nightclub, to celebrate House music. The club was playing the most progressive music anywhere on the continent, and it was reflected in all of us that came to pray to the Gods Of House that we heard booming through our souls at 120db. It was more than a club. It was an institution, and I loved every second I was there. To those of you that were there with me. thank you all. I will never forget you.
