Public Liability

Public liability law covers accidents that are happening in a public space. They can be as simple as having a slip and fall in a supermarket or an accident in someone’s home. Those are the most common kinds of accidents you see. They can also be more complex such as dealing with accidents that have happened at various business venues, for instance it could be a restaurant, an adventure park, or a horse riding facility. Each of these creates their own scenario. It sometimes intertwines into other areas of the law involving accidents in a work place, where the accident can be happening at a construction site. In those circumstances we are looking at who are the responsible parties for that accident -most likely either the builder the sub-contractor or multiple sub-contractors for the task.
