When it comes down to classic progressive house, Particles has always been one of the leading labels out there. The story began in 2006 when Proton Music DJ Jay Epoch collected unsigned tracks by the most promising, new talents out there and mixed them together. Right after the first five compilations hit top spots at Beatport, he and his team decided to found a new sub-label which sustained and even enhanced its quality over the past years. With the forthcoming release of the next edition of the very famous seasonal sampler (“Winter Particles 2013″), I went deep into the archives and came back with lots of very unknown gems. Who would have thought electronic music released on the same label could be as diverse as this?
