This week on Heavy Flow, we were joined in-studio by the co-founder of the As One Project, Angela Esquivel. The As One Project is a non-profit that provides a community-based forum where secondary survivors of sexual violence can get information about how to support themselves and the survivor in their life. As One hopes to create a safe space where people can learn about sexual violence, share their stories, and empower one another along their path to healing.
We also briefly discussed the candidacy announcement from Hillary Clinton and the controversial religious freedom laws in Arkansas and Indiana.
