We kick off the new year with a podcast featuring new songs and old favourites. There's brand new tracks by Jens Lekman, The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Magnetic Fields, Bill Botting & The Two Drink Minimums, Peaness, Stanley Brinks And The Old TIme Kaniks and Allo Darlin'. There's a clutch of highlights from recent HDIFs courtesy of The Action, Rose Batiste, The Spandells, and Hopeton Lewis And The Gaylettes. And to celebrate 40 years since the release of "Spiral Scratch" by Buzzcocks, there's three of the four tracks from the EP. We'll be playing every song on "Spiral Scratch" at the next HDIF, plus a few other Buzzcocks classics too.

The next HDIF is on Saturday January 21st at The Phoenix, 37 Cavendish Square, London W1, just by Oxford Circus tube. We run 9pm-3am, and our guest DJ is James Hoare of Ultimate Painting/Veronica Falls. There's more info about the night here -

The tracklisting for the podcast is in the comments.
