Thank you! I thought that the track Lost was a good transition track between techno and psytrance, as it's kind of between genres and I added a 4 beat loop of the psytrance track at the end of it to add some more "psytrancy" sounds to it :))
1. Oliver Huntemann & Marc Romboy - Teufelsfisch 2. Thomas Schumacher - Feist 3. Audiomatiques - Interferencias 4. Maxie Devine, T78 - Mantisaur 5. Sam Wolfe - Laceration 6. Umek - Footmachine 7. Space 92 - Lost 8. Jay Lumen - Voices 9. KI/ KI - 5 Minutes of Acid
I love the buildup here. What techniques did you use? It was fun to hear the track in the background, with a buildup, then you dropped the buildup into the new track.
Actually in most cases what happens is correct phrasing - and old track dies off naturally while the new one is building up at its own pace :) I try to respect the phrasing as much as I can :)
I love the tease with "unconvential" vocal bit, in the background. Helps with the transition a lot, I didn't even really notice the transition until the drop.

this was a fun set. I listened to it while I worked and didn't notice the transition from techno to psytrance. It felt really natural. Nice work!

@haniasurvives Smart! I will think about incorporating a similar thought process for my mixes.
