I'm back and here we go again with another weekly delve into some seriously lost, forgotten, rock’n’roll era musical relics. I do these Golden Grooves shows primarily to dig up and revive great lost and forgotten recordings and my goal is one of pure simplicity and that is to give the forgotten songs of the 50's and 60's another chance to be heard and hopefully enjoyed.
Again this week I have the best part of 50 lined up and ready to go, songs that you just don't hear on the radio any more these days but ALL worthy of another opportunity to be heard, and hopefully enjoyed, and of course not forgetting what's new and rockin' from those flying the rock and roll flag presently. This week I mark the passing of Barry Darvell. I only found out Barry had passed away last April, just in the last couple of week's so a handful of his best included in today's show.
