Brigid's Birthday Bash

A selection of the warm up tunes played for the first half of Brigid's birthday party. Most of the tunes were ones Brigid chose herself, formative listening experiences (The Blue Nile, Bowie, Mary Coughlan), old & new (relatively speaking) favourites (Mr. Scruff, Nuyorican Soul, Koop), cherished hazy memories of gigs & raves (Kíla, Guardians of Dalliance). A lot are compromises, piecing together what we had rather than what we hadn't (plus a big affection for Che Guevara). Twas good craic. This set is a small tribute to one of the most big-hearted, friendly, uplifting and thoughtful people I'm lucky to have in my life.
