"Thisn't a feckin' folk label..."
So said Ex Libris Records stalwart A.T. Gardiner, at some point in the last 8 years, expressing frustration that he'd ended up putting out a a series of mellow-choly acoustic albums, rather than the experimental punk that his bands and peers had been playing.
In the last few months, a bewildering array of records have finally left the mixing desk, long after the promised '5 years time'. For those overwhelmed by the onslaught, I present this compilation, which takes track 2 from each of the main releases (except where judicious decisions have been taken). I include my own album, and one of Aaron's works, as part of the XLR canon.
