Graphtek 35 : Paradise

Back in the mix this month with nearly three hours of fresh, upfront Progressive House. #35 Paradise channels the late-night energy of club nights on the Cycladic islands of Greece; steady 4/4 beats infused with ethereal, ethnic textures, and subtle layers of tech-house and deep-tech influence.

Standouts in this month’s selection include multiple tracks from Juan Dominics and Max 28, alongside notable appearances from longtime veterans GusGus, Seth Vogt, Sasha, and Maceo Plex.

One thing that’s become clear after a few years back in the mix: I simply buy the music I love and then find a way to make it all fit together. I wasn’t sure how this one would layer at first, but once it was finished, it felt seamless. A snapshot of Progressive House's current sound right now. Vocals are dialed back on this set, so if you’re a vocal-centric listener, it might not be your go-to; but for those who want a raw, unfiltered sound, Paradise captures the scene perfectly.
