Graphtek 34 : Tron

“Graphtek #34: Tron” is an Indie Dance mix built around the retro sounds that first got me curious about electronic music back in the 80s. This episode leans on synth lines, drum machine grooves, and that steady 4/4 dancefloor pulse.

I wanted to give it a unique theme, which is where the original Tron movie samples come in. Dropping those into the flow ties the whole thing together, giving it that arcade-meets-future vibe without taking it too seriously.

After developing this show with a long-form Progressive House style—which has become my “thing”—I decided to throw a curveball. This is a mix I’ve wanted to do for a while. I’ve got roots in so many genres that I find inspiration everywhere, and this was a chance to show that side.
